HELLSGATE NATIONAL PARK
Our first park was named after the large steam clouds and geothermal heated pools that set this special place apart. To admire the stunning cliff rock towers, volcanoes, and breathtaking canyons of HellsGate National Park.
Hiking and cycling are recommended here, all a little. Trek through Hell’s Gate Gorge, a steep red sandstone layer cut from water and time. As you walk through this narrow canyon, you’ll find a unique volcanic fragment called Fisher and the Central Tower.
Fischer’s Tower, Central Tower and park valleys give you stunning views. Fischer’s Tower was the result of volcanic activity that occurred 35 million years ago. It was later named after a German explorer named Gustav Fischer and is now one of the many popular rock climbing sites in the park.
And we go on a cycling safari. Through the towering cliffs on the savanna, we find giraffes, buffalos, zebras, hartebeest, gazelle, perhaps hyenas. It’s a fun way to experience wildlife.
LAKE NAIVASHA
When you arrive at Lake Naivasha, you will enjoy the rich contrast of the park’s forests, dormant volcanoes, magnificent canyons and, of course, mountain lakes. After lunch, we will join the Prime Minister Safari Park to enjoy the scenery of grass-grazing wildlife on the nearby beaches and shores. Don’t be surprised to see buffalo, zebras and impalas looking up during your cruise. The lake and its forests also entertain visitors with a wealth of bird exhibits
CRESCENT ISLAND GAME SANTUARY
EXPLORE NAIVASHA’S SECRET
Crescent Island Sanctuary boasts more animals per acre than any other park in Kenya. You are certain to trek by diverse herds of wildlife – wildebeest, waterbuck, zebra, giraffe and gazelle amongst them.
There is no fence on the island, and animals freely enter and leave the mainland without any restriction.
From the top of the hill, there is a 360-degree view across the Lake from Longonot to Hell’s Gate to the Mau Escarpment to Eburu and onto the Aberdares. Walking along the ridge in the golden hour before sunset whilst watching the animals grazing with the water shimmering beyond, is what Africa is all about.

Drive to Hell’s Gate National Park with a stopover at the view point to marvel at the picturesque cliffs of the Great Rift Valley.
Hell’s Gate is one of the smallest national parks in Kenya and can be explored on foot.
Among the graceful grazing gazelles, larger antelopes, zebras and giraffes, walking, biking or driving your safari is an enjoyable experience.
Lunch at Lake Naivasha Resort.
Sail the boat safari, explore Lake Naivasha while spotting hippos and exotic birds, and climb Mount Longonotto in the background.
Later enjoy a guided walking safaris, buffalos, waterbucks, antelopes, giraffes, zebras and more can be seen up close on the crescent-shaped island.
Afterwards depart for Nairobi. Arrive in the evening.
